Barbara Dickson - Senior Pastor's Secretary

Barbara is secretary to KUMC's Senior Minister, Rev. Joe Fort and to the Director of Music Ministries, Gary Showalter. She is the editor of the Church newsletter, the Forest Reflections, and also serves as our Wedding Administrator. Barbara is married to Paul, also a member of KUMC. They have a teenage son Tom, and a bulldog named Otto! She and Paul enjoy singing together in the Chancel Choir. Blanche Spurgeon - Financial Coordinator

|
Blanche Spurgeon is our Financial Coordinator, the assistant to our Business Administrator. She is responsible for the processing of pledges, contributions, accounts payable, and payroll. Jane Bradley - Nursery Coordinator
|
|
Jane Bradley and her husband, Bob, are longtime members of KUMC. Jane has a Bachelor and Master's degree in Education and is a certified Reading Specialist. Jane enjoys working with babies, toddlers, and two year olds and feels that children learn from the moment of birth and sense the love of Jesus. Her goal is to provide a nursery where children receive excellent care, and parents are very comfortable leaving their precious children.
Nurseries are provided for all Sunday morning and evening worship services, Bible studies, choir rehearsals, Sunday School teacher preparation, and others as requested by the ministers. If you have any questions about the nursery program, call Jane at the Church Office, 281-358-2137.

Paula Seams - Receptionist
|

|
Besides being our Receptionist, Paula is also the secretary to the Christian Education department and can answer almost any question you have about KUMC. Sonya Parks - Membership Secretary

Sonya Parks serves as the Membership Secretary and secretary to two associate ministers. Sonya has over 14 years experience in church administration. Hector & Naomi Garcia - Custodians
|
|
|
Hector and Naomi bless our community of faith with their tireless work at KUMC. Hector does maintenance, setups and heavy custodial work. Naomi does custodial work and works with our part-time custodian. We couldn't do very much around KUMC without Hector and Naomi.

Melinda Dodd - New Member Coordinator

Melinda helps new families to the church get involved and connected to the community of faith. She has a wonderful heart and can be contacted at the church office.

Sheila Childers - Organist
|
|
|
Sheila Childers has been the organist at KUMC since 1985. She is married to Leonard and they have 5 children. Sheila is also an active member in the Women's Ensemble and lends her talents to many special services around the church.

Cheryl Litherland
|
|
|
|
Cheryl is the secretary to KUMC’s Youth Ministers, Mark Walz and Jason Cagle, as well as Associate Minister, Patrick Evans. Cheryl and her husband, Steve, have been members of KUMC for 10 years. They have a son, Chris, who attends Arkansas Tech. University and a daughter, Kylie, who is a junior at KHS (as well as 2 cats, 2 pet rats and a dog!).
