The mission of Busy Christian Mothers is to provide an on-line sanctuary for busy Christian mothers; and to foster opportunities for busy mothers to grow one another’s faith through bible study, fellowship and service projects. Disciple 4: Under the Tree of Life
|

This thirty-two-week study concentrates on the writings in the Old Testament – Ruth, 1 and 2 Chronicles, Ezra, Nehemiah, Esther, Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Song of Solomon, Lamentations, and Daniel. New Testament Scriptures include the Gospel of John; 1, 2, and 3 John; James; Jude; and Revelation. The word Under in the title is meant to convey invitation, welcome, sheltering, security, and rest--home at last. Emphasis on the Psalms as Israel’s hymnbook and prayer book leads naturally to an emphasis on worship in the study. Present though the entire study is the sense of living toward completion, toward the climax of the message and the promise, extravagantly pictured in the book of Revelation. This course will be led by Gladden Lawrence and Woody Barksdale. Wednesday evenings from 7-9pm in K102. Cost for the study manual is $30.
First time Bible Students are welcome!!!

Want to take charge of your life in 2008 through healthier eating and living habits? If you do, then join us for devotionals, lecture and discussion. We will discuss how our relationship with God is connected to making more conscious choices in exercise and food. Amy Creamer leads this group that meets on Wednesday nights from 7:00 - 8:30 in room K 105. Class begins January 16th .

Join us for this “tour” through the bible on Thursday afternoons from 1 – 2:30 pm in K105. We will begin with the Old Testament on March 13th. There is no childcare for this course.
