Classes

Confirmation Class | Stacey Sweet

Room # K103

Sixth graders may be enrolled in a nine-month program throughout the school year which meets in K103. A ten-week Confirmation Class for those students in seventh through twelfth grades who have not had the opportunity to experience Confirmation as a sixth grader will begin in the spring.  For more information, e-mail Confirmation Coordinator Stacey Sweet.

Sixth grade students not enrolled in Confirmation are welcome to join the Middle School Life study at 9:40 a.m., in the Fellowship Hall.

Freshman Union

Freshman Union is a year long program for High School freshman helping them to transition into HS. Meets on 2nd Sunday of each month from 11:-12 followed by family lunch and discussion. Engaging families and pastors in table discussions. $50.00 Registration covers 10 meals + Lock-in Retreat

Senior Union

KUMC student ministry is aiming to help high school seniors prepare spiritually and mentally for the transition to college. We will gather together 10 times, one retreat and include a family mission experience. Expectations of students: to attend 7 of 10 classes, serve the church monthly and interview a pastor. Cost covers curriculum, Retreat & Mission.

High School LIFE | Shelby Rushing

Room # Fellowship Hall

On Wednesday Night from 6-8pm in K103, high school students learn the value of doing LIFE together through a program designed and centered around play, accountability, intentional discussion, encouragement, and the study of the Word of God.  Free dinner provided @ The Table in the Gym from 5-6.  Study Hall is included in the evening from when they finish dinner till 6:30.  Contact Shelby Rushing for more information.

On Sunday mornings @ 9:40 a.m., in The Loft, high school students meet together as a church community to worship together.  Worship is student led by members of our youth worship band. Parents are welcome to join and be a part of the experience!  Contact Clint Wyllie for more information or to get plugged in.

On Wednesday nights 6-8pm, in The Loft, middle school students meet together as a church community to experience high energy and interactive worship together. SIFAT

SIFAT is a Week-long Third World Mission Experience Camp for graduated 7th through 12th graders. This week long experience alternates years with the Costa Rica Mission Trip.  The dates for 2017 are June 24 – July 1.  Registration is open – click to register
