Layettes for Babies born at LBJ Hospital. Over 300 children are born into homes of poverty each month at this hospital. Volunteers have so far made diaper bags, knitted caps, receiving blankets, and bibs. Still needed are bottles, cloth diapers, bottle brushes, pacifiers, powder, lotion etc. to finish filling the diaper bags. Many of these moms are very young and have been disowned by family. The opportunities for both fellowship and service include donating any of the above, or getting together with others to assemble the layettes.
