Grace Groups

Do you ever say or think:

"I want more meaning in my life."
"I want a deeper relationship with God and with those I love."
"Others don’t really know me."
"I want to be used fully by God."
"Why do I feel I must be perfect?"
"My parents did the best they could."
"I never do anything right."
"I want more depth in my life."

Unexamined life experiences can keep us from living whole and healthy lives and being used fully by God. There are some life experiences that we processed as negative and others that we processed as positive. All life experiences whether they are wounds, events, disappointments, celebrations, beliefs or achievements leave their imprint on our souls. This imprint, in turn, touches our relationships at home, at work, at school, in our social and our spiritual communities. Grace Groups provide a safe environment that invites people to examine life experiences that may have impacted their emotional and spiritual health.

Grace Groups encourage the creation or expansion of our story. Some of us do not realize we have a story or that we have more to our story. It is within our story that we find the roadmap to a journey of growth, healing and change. The Bible is full of stories – some of disappointment, celebrations, wounds or unexpected circumstances just like our stories. The Bible is an example of God using people and stories of redemption and that is the goal of Grace Groups.

Grace Groups are rooted in Biblical principles that will bring fresh perspective and growth to those who are longing for a deeper connection with God, with others and with their own hearts.

If you are interested in joining a Grace Group, please email Director of Pastoral Care Paula Cade or call her at 281.358.2137.
