CONFIRMATION PROGRAM
Confirmation Mission Statement:
By nurturing and growing our faith in God we will profess our belief in Jesus Christ, become participants in the Body of Christ at Kingwood United Methodist Church, and prepare for a life of discipleship.

The Confirmation class attended the prison ministry presentation on Feb. 7th. Then on Sunday, Feb. 14th, Pastor Evans led a class discussion on "It's all About Love," and related this topic to those who are imprisoned. This Sunday the Confirmation lesson is titled, "Who is Jesus, and what did he do?"

Upcoming in Confirmation

KUMC 8-week Confirmation
8 – week Confirmation, for students 7th grade and older who have not previously attended confirmation, will begin on Sunday, Feb. 21st, 2010 at 6:00 – 7:30 pm in E-205. Sessions will begin each Sunday with a snack supper and conclude with small group discussion. Students will be confirmed on Confirmation Sunday, May 9th, 2010.
