CONFIRMATION PROGRAM
Confirmation Mission Statement:
By nurturing and growing our faith in God we will profess our belief in Jesus Christ, become participants in the Body of Christ at Kingwood United Methodist Church, and prepare for a life of discipleship.

6th-8th grade Confirmation has been busy. Class time has been spent on lessons about salvation, sin and the Holy Spirit and outside of class we've been eating donuts, pizza and collecting supplies for Society of
St. Stephen.

Monthly Schedule

March 28th, 9:40 in E-205 - "I Choose Jesus Christ"
April 4, 2010 - No Confirmation Class (Easter)
April 11th, 9:40 in E-205 - "End of the World & Life After Death"
April 16-18th, Spring Retreat - Break-thru at Camp Pineywoods

Upcoming in Confirmation

KUMC 8-week Confirmation
The 8-week Confirmation started on Feb. 21st. The students ages 13-16 years old, meet every Sunday evening from 6-7:30 with a KUMC minister and group leader to study topics such as God, Sin & Grace, Jesus Christ-Our Savior & Lord, The Gift of the Spirit, and Worship & Word. Mission activities will begin with the JT Barger dinner and dessert auction on March 26, 2010.
